Rogers was such an amazing composer.

As early as 5 years old, he could convey his messages of laughter, concern, anger, and even sadness through his fingertips at a piano. Writing all of his own material he went on to be an American Icon. Although he never looked at himself as a celebrity or a television personality.. Moreso he considered himself a neighbor that would stop in for a visit.

Call me gushy for this, but I feel that Rogers was one of the first person to openly display his emotions through song without a single regret.

Even posthumously, Fred's messages are still spread throughout the entire world and resonate with people of all ages, walks, and cultures.

Now wouldn't that be amazing if all music could hold such valor?

I meant to revisit this awhile ago... I listened to some of his stuff, and I think you are right. I was surprised to hear that I've heard alot of his stuff being used in various ways over the years.
