Art In Progress (Art Open to Collaborations)

Talking to Vader, perhaps we should make this a forum wide thing.. As we all are on the same scale for expression.

My project is not exactly simple.. but yet resonates highly with me..

My musical project has been continuing for a while now..

BaheL - Named after local logging legend Harry Bahel (buried off the side of Bearinger road)..

He was a young lad that was working a saw mill at Five lakes, when problems happened. He was thrown onto the sawblade and cut from the collar bone halfway down his left side.. He managed to army crawl to help only to die a day and ahalf later..

As a person of local history, I wish to pay homage to such a tough spirit for fighting.

After a few years of listening to Burzum, Xasthur, Mithotyn, and a few other black metal artists.. I feel that this genre of music will be my outlet for such creativity.. It's raw, it's personal, and what makes it so unique and acceptable is the fact that it does NOT try and be perfect..

I have about 2/3'rds of my "first" album written.. I just need to record it.. Some has lyrics.. some doesn't.. some doesn't even have guitars or drums..

With that all being said, it's not just an album.. It's film.. It's pictures.. It's a story.. It's a dialogue.. I want to not only tell Harry's tale, but I want to relate my own personal experiences in with it. I know with each and every one of you in this forum, it will happen.

I will be happy to help in anyway I can, Shadow Talker....

I like it... that would make an excellent overture for a rock symphony. Expanding on the original feeling and exploring it with guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, and all the other rock paraphenalia. Rock operas have been done before... But has a symphony? Much as Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons' capture a mood, and paint a mental picture, the same could be done from a rock perspective. Wow. I'm actually pretty excited at the thought. I'm not sure if it has even been done before....
